Mr. Arvind Pal Singh Matharu

Arvind is an RCIC-IRB, owner of APS Immigration Services Inc, who worked as an Information Technology and Management professional for 25 years before getting into the immigration profession. The IT career was spent for IT projects on locations around the world including Canada, England, Greece, India, Japan, Switzerland and USA.
Arvind is naturalized Canadian citizen who speaks English, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, and has working knowledge in French, Bangla and Marathi. He relocated from Zurich in Switzerland to Canada more than 20 years ago, and living in Winnipeg since then. His professional career has always intertwined with his interest to volunteer. In the past, he has volunteered as a Board Member for Project Management Institute - MB, American Society for Quality - MB and BusyBee, and currently Board Member for Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants, Friends of Winnipeg Public Library, Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron 177 and The Air Cadet League of Canada – MB.
Academically, Arvind possesses more than sixty credentials in Technology and Management, notably Master of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi (India) and Master of Business Administration from Aspen University, Colorado (USA). His continuous interest to learn new things led him to write a book in 2018 on cryptocurrencies as money of the future. Currently, there is a series of books by him in progress on immigration profession. He has an intense interest in career counselling, for newcomers or experienced professionals. He has mentored many newcomers to Canada via JVS Toronto, and other organizations to help new immigrants for their smoother settlement in Canada.
Arvind has a vision to serve on the Board of Air Cadet League of Canada – MB, so as to uphold the organization's mission and vision of contributing towards policies related to developing cadets’ qualities associated with a good citizenship, discipline, character building, building leadership skills, improve their knowledge of aviation and increase their usefulness to the community. Canada upholds the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion towards which Air Cadet League of Canada – MB contributes by having an organized structure and direction, and Arvind is committed to this.
