Mr. Jim Bell, CD

Jim Bell is an aircraft maintenance engineer who earned his glider pilot and private pilot wings with 191 West Winnipeg Rotary Squadron. After his cadet career, he volunteered for thirteen years on the staff of 220 Red River Squadron. He had careers with the RCAF and Air Canada, in Winnipeg, Borden ON, Ottawa, and Toronto, working on CT-114 Tutors, CT-142 Dash 8s, Airbus A320s and A220s, Boeing 767s and 737s, and Embraer 175s and 190s. He owns and flies a 1946 Piper Cub. Jim has served on several volunteer boards, including the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association and the Canadian Aviation Historical Society. He joined the Air Cadet League of Canada (Manitoba) board in 2021.
